Notice of Trash Collection Rate Increase
Dear Valued Customer,
We would like to thank you for your continued business and support.
Due to significant increases in landfill and dumping fees charged by local disposal facilities, we must make a necessary adjustment to our trash collection rates. These increased disposal costs have substantially impacted our operating expenses, and despite our efforts to absorb these increases, we can no longer do so without affecting the quality and reliability of our service.
Effective July 01, 2026, your monthly trash collection rate will increase from $20 a month to $22 and from $25 a month to $27.
This adjustment will help us continue to provide dependable service while covering the rising costs associated with waste disposal, fuel, equipment maintenance, and regulatory requirements.
We remain committed to providing professional, reliable, and timely trash collection services to all of our customers. We appreciate your understanding and continued trust in our company.

Charles county residents we ask that you utilize the Charles County recycling program. We do not remove boxes from Charles County residents.

This is due to higher disposal rate charges at landfill if trash and recycling are mixed.

I switched from Ambers to Fielding and Sons almost a year ago. Fielding picks up once a week and the cost is considerably less than other companies. You decide if you want to pay monthly or several months at a time. The person I talked to for setting this up was very nice and offered me many options. I got the senior discount and because the large cans are hard for me to handle, I got a discount for purchasing my own smaller can instead of using their large can. They also offered a seniors “favor” of picking the can up near my garage if I cannot get it to the curb. So far I have not needed to use that extra service, but happy to know it is there if I need it. Fielding is excellent and gets a five star from me!
